Scotland-based Old Curiosity Distillery’s range of colour changing gins will be released in Harvey Nichols stores throughout the UK from 1 February.
The range includes three flavours: Apothecary rose, lavender & echinacea and chamomile & cornflower.
Each flavour changes colour when tonic water is added; apothecary rose changes from gold to pink, chamomile and cornflower blue colour changes to pale pink and lavender & echinacea changes from purple to pink.
The colour changes occur thanks to the natural ingredients contained in the drinks, as the pH levels of the drink change once tonic is added, according to the distillery.
Each flavour in the range is created without the use of artificial chemicals and sugars, and the botanical ingredients such as rose petals are hand-picked, dried and infused on the company’s Secret Herb Garden site in Scotland.
Each bottle is 39% ABV and will be available with an RRP in Harvey Nichols of £42 per bottle.
