One Brands, the maker of One Bars which have 20 grams of protein and one gram of sugar per serving, has today launched a red velvet cake bar.
Unveiled ahead of Valentine’s Day, the bars are said to provide sweets enthusiasts a new way to enjoy a slice of cake “without the guilt”.
Dipped in a cream cheese frosting, the cake-inspired bar is available in the US with a recommended retail price of between $2.49 and $2.79.
One Brands CEO Peter Burns said: “Our fans have been asking for a red velvet cake bar and we are thrilled to offer it as a seasonal flavour timed to Valentine’s Day.
One red velvet cake is especially fun not only because it tastes unbelievable, but because our bars provide a great alternative to traditional Valentine’s Day mainstays like a box of chocolates. We’re confident that our customers will fall in love with this new flavour.”
Last November, One Brands expanded its portfolio with the introduction of a high-protein peanut butter cake bar which is marketed as a post-workout treat.
