Nutritious cereal brand Peace Cereal has launched two new quinoa chia crunch and maple buckwheat hemp varieties of its Supergrains cereal line.
Packed with 7g of protein and between 4g and 5g of fibre, the two new organic cereals offer US consumers additional on-trend breakfast options. They have been made available in retailers such as Fresh Market, Whole Foods and Sprouts with retail prices of between $3.99 and $4.99.
The brand claimed that their introduction falls in line with the rising number of American consumers seeking “new ingredients to align with the latest food trends”. The two new varieties are US Department of Agriculture-certified organic, non-GMO verified, and loaded with flavour while still being low in sugar.
Rob Goluba, director of marketing for brand owner Attune Foods, added: “At Peace Cereal, we strive to provide on-trend options while still maintaining nutritionally dense and flavourful options. Now that we are starting to see super grains as household staples in kitchens and diets across the country, we thought adding quinoa chia crunch and maple buckwheat hemp to cereal aisles nationwide would be a natural fit.”
