PepsiCo, in collaboration with Boston Beer, has developed a hard seltzer product called Hard Mtn Dew, to be launched in the US early next year.
The new alcoholic RTD drink contains 5% ABV and is based on the “bold, citrus flavour” of Mtn Dew. The flavoured malt beverage comes in three varieties – Regular, Black Cherry and Watermelon.
“We know that adult drinkers’ tastes are evolving, and they are looking for new and exciting flavorful beverages. The combination of our experience in brewing and developing the best-tasting hard seltzers and hard teas, and Mnt Dew, a one of kind multi-billion dollar brand, will deliver the excitement and refreshment that drinkers know and love,” said Dave Burwick, Boston Beer’s CEO.
