PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew brand will re-release its Mtn Dew Baja Blast flavour in response to a consumer campaign which demanded the return of the drink.
PepsiCo says that the tropical lime-flavoured soft drink will only be available for a limited time, and this is the first time the drink has been available for two years.
The drink will be available in 20oz bottles, 12-packs of 12oz cans, and various multi-pack sizes nationwide from selected US retailers from 23 April.
Chauncey Hamlett, senior director of marketing at Mountain Dew said: “Summer’s Most Wanted flavour is back, and it’s all thanks to the tireless efforts of Dew Nation.
“We were overwhelmed by all of the love we saw on social media and other channels, so we worked hard to bring back Mtn Dew Baja Blast.
We’re always listening to Dew Nation and we’re excited to give them exactly what they’ve been craving.”
