PepsiCo-owned Drinkfinity has expanded its range of customisable flavour pods by introducing two new coffee-flavoured drink pods for the US market.
The Drinkfinity range consists of multiple flavour pods which are compatible with a specialised reusable ‘vessel’. To create the drink, consumers peel and ‘pop’ the pods into the bottle once it is filled with water and then shake it, creating a 20oz flavoured drink.
Americano Charge and Cinnamon Americano Charge flavours are now available as part of the new Charge Coffee Infusion Pods product line, and each flavour contains two espresso shots sourced from Colombian coffee, meaning each flavour contains 143mg of caffeine.
Both flavours are free from artificial flavours and sweeteners, and the Americano Charge flavour is entirely unsweetened, while the Cinnamon Americano Charge flavour contains cinnamon and is sweetened with cane sugar and stevia leaf.
Hernan Marina, vice-president, global business innovation at Drinkfinity said: “We are iced coffee enthusiasts here at Drinkfinity and just like many consumers, we were looking for new ways to make iced coffee quickly in the morning.
“Each coffee flavour was designed for consumers to prepare and customise with ease, while preserving the essence of the classic Americano.”
The Drinkfinity Charge Coffee Infusion Pods are available in packs of four, with a suggested retail price of $6.50, and the Drinkfinity Vessel itself retails for $20.
