PepsiCo-owned Naked Juice has announced it will release its first range of chilled snack bars, the first products the brand has produced outside of the premium juice and smoothie sector.
Naked’s Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bars will be available in three varieties: Blue Machine, Red Machine and Green Machine, and all bars are made with real fruit and vegetables and contain no artificial preservatives.
Aimed at the growing number of consumers who are seeking convenient fruit and vegetable snacks, the bars will go on sale nationwide in the US from the end of February.
The bars will be available from refrigerated sections of US retailers in single-serve and multipacks.
Becca Kerr, senior vice-president of Naked’s North America nutrition, fruit and vegetable portfolio said: “As experts in fruits and vegetables, I’m thrilled we are bringing the convenience, nutrition and taste we are known for at Naked into the chilled bar space.
“Since it’s not always convenient to fit fruits and vegetables into your daily routine, we’re expanding our lineup, continuing to provide consumers with yet another option to make sure they are getting their daily dose of goodness.”
