Pernod Ricard has added a new ready-to-drink nitro cold brew to its Kahlúa brand portfolio of coffee cocktails in the US.
The on-the-go cocktail features rum, coffee liqueur and 100% Arabica cold brew coffee, which it claims has been soaked for at least 18 hours.
Each can of the 4.5% ABV rum and coffee cocktail contains 80 calories and has been designed with a nitro widget, allowing it to be poured in under three seconds.
Nitro Cold Brew complements Kahlúa’s Espresso Martini, as the brand aims to tap into the growing markets of coffee cocktails and spirits-based RTDs.
Troy Gorczyca, US brand director at Kahlúa, said: “The data shows that the popularity of RTDs is continuing to grow rapidly and as coffee cocktail culture progresses into the RTD category, Kahlúa Nitro Cold Brew is the perfect marriage. Tapping into the desire for convenience without compromise – it’s the best of both worlds.”
Kahlúa Nitro Cold Brew will be available to purchase in stores nationwide from July.
