PET Engineering has designed the packaging for a new line of functional waters launched by Acqua Vitasnella in Italy.
Called Le Linfe, the sugar-free range includes a combination of aloe vera, coconut water and birch sap. Acqua Vitasnella is owned by Italian bottled mineral water company Ferrarelle.
PET Engineering said the line needed a product identity that was able to convey both the lightness of the water, a key value of Acqua Vitasnella, and the functional benefit of each variant.
The decoration for the packaging was taken from Acqua Vitasnella water, with a design that sinuously runs down the bottle.
In a statement, PET Engineering said: “This packaging therefore provides continuity in terms of appearance and meaning with Acqua Vitasnella products, at the same time as defining Le Linfe as a product in its own right, with its own characteristics, which is highlighted by the bottle’s different yet equally as attractive shape.
“The bottle has a full sleeve with a simple and effective iconographic style that highlights the plus points of each variant, clearly showing the main ingredient and its benefits.”
The redesign follows a collaboration announced last month between PET Engineering and Italian soft drinks company Recoaro.
