MD Ben Guy said the new appointments would be 'instrumental' in future growth
Food oil producer and co-packing firm Phoenix Group has expanding its senior management team with two new appointments to its technical and production departments.
Emma Woods brings more than 12 years’ experience in agronomy and food product development to her new role as the producer’s technical manager, while internal logistics and team management expert Paul Paveling has taken up the position of production manager. More than 3m items are filled, packed and dispatched at the company’s 25,000sq foot facility every year.
The appointments follow a period of strong financial performance for the UK-based company, as it continues to strive towards 50% growth this year.
Phoenix Group managing director Ben Guy said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Paul and Emma to the team, two hugely experienced people in their respective areas. They’ll be instrumental in the future growth of our business and I’m confident they can bring new ideas and improvements to the fore as well as helping to build on our recent successes.
“We’ve got a growing customer base built on strong relationships which has made us their packer of choice. We’ve grown with them as a result meaning we’re on track to increase turnover by 50% year-on-year.”
