Baby and toddler food brand, Piccolo, has launched a range of organic stock sachets, which are designed to appeal to health-conscious consumers.
The brand already offers stock cubes, which it claims contain the lowest amount of added salt and sugar when compared to others on the market. However, Piccolo has developed its sachet range without any added salt or sugar.
Also free from palm oil, the new line features three flavours: Tomato & Basil, Beef, and Vegetable.
At 10g each, the sachets are slightly bigger than the stock cube format and are designed to appeal to consumers who batch cook several meals at a time.
“As a mum myself, I know I’ve found it challenging cooking three meals a day for my family during lockdown,” said Piccolo founder, Cat Gazzoli.
“We’ve seen that many parents have been enjoying cooking but also finding it difficult to come up with new ideas. We want to continue supporting parents as best we can in their efforts to cook at home, and encourage a more nutritious approach to feeding their little ones.
“Like myself, lots of parents are becoming more aware of the importance of health from an early age – in fact, a recent survey showed 55% of our customers choose our cooking range because of its low salt and sugar content. The launch of our new stock sachet powder will really appeal to those looking for healthy options.”
Piccolo’s new range is available, for an RRP of £1.80 for four sachets, online and from Boots.
