Tyrrells has expanded its crisp range in the UK with the launch of a raspberry bellini variant, which the brand describes as its “most experimental flavour to date”.
The flavour of the pink-coloured snacks is said to combine potatoes, sweet raspberries and sparkling prosecco.
Sarah Lawson, marketing manager at Tyrrells Potato Crisps, said: “Raspberry bellini is a truly indulgent flavour that’s perfect for family and friends to share.
“At Tyrrells, we’re always looking for ways to deliver new, quirky and exciting flavours that maintain our authentic British flavour; the raspberry bellini strikes the perfect balance for any party.”
The limited-edition flavour will launch exclusively in Tesco from October, priced at £2.19 for a 150g bag.
In May Intersnack Group subsidiary KP Snacks announced it had agreed a deal to acquire Tyrells from The Hershey Company.
The acquisition adds KP Snack’s extensive range of snack brands, which includes McCoy’s, Hula Hoops and Butterkist.
Hershey bought the brand in December 2017 as part of a $1.6 billion deal for its parent company Amplify Snacks Brands.
In April Tyrells further expanded its snack range with the launch of prawn cocktail crisps flavoured with brandy.
