Nut butter brand Pip & Nut has released a new limited-edition chocolate orange almond butter, which will be available to consumers in the UK.
Launching on Ocado from 12 June, Pip & Nut Chocolate Orange Almond Butter jars will also be introduced to 500 Sainsbury’s stores and to Whole Foods shops at the end of June.
Pip & Nut says the release follows the success of its recent limited edition releases, and the brand claims that the product is the UK’s first chocolate orange almond butter.
Made with a blend of almonds, cacao and orange extract, the butter does not contain any refined sugars or palm oil.
Pippa Murray, founder of Pip & Nut said: “We love to surprise and delight our consumers and to bring a sense of fun into the nut butter category, with our focus on flavour over functionality.
“Offering a Pip & Nut twist on a classic flavour combination, we believe our new limited edition delivers just that and we look forward to its nationwide roll-out thanks to the ongoing support of our retailer partners.”
Pip & Nut Chocolate Orange Almond Butter will be available in 225g jars, with a suggested retail price of £3.95 per jar.
The release follows last month’s news that Pip & Nut received £1 million in funding to help drive the growth of the brand, as it aims to hit a retail sales value of £25 million by 2020 and expand abroad.
