Pulsin’ has entered the children’s snack market with the launch of a new range of healthy oat bars, made using real fruit and natural ingredients.
Pulsin’ Kids fruity oat bars contain no artificial ingredients and are aimed at children aged from 3-9 years. Targeting parents looking for healthy snack alternatives and ideas for lunch boxes, the bars have a reduced-sugar claim and only contain natural sugars. They also provide one of the five recommended daily portions of fruit and vegetables, are free from gluten, dairy and soya, and do not contain GMOs.
The bars are available in strawberry, blackcurrant and apple, and orange choc chip variants
The brand has secured a listing with Ocado – and will also be available select retailers with a retail price of £2.99 per six-count multipack.
Pulsin’ co-founder Simon Ashburner said: “Pulsin’s credentials in delivering natural and healthy convenience foods means we are in a prime position to offer parents healthier food choices for their kids.
“Pulsin’ Kids’ fruity oat bars address parents’ concerns about the damaging impact of sugar on children’s health and confusion over what constitutes a healthy snack. With food facts clearly labelled on pack the bars will reassure parents they are making the right buying decision by offering their children snacks which are healthy and natural.”
