Culligan-owned Quench has continued its expansion efforts with the acquisition of water dispenser dealer Eastern Pure Water for an undisclosed figure.
Founded in 2016, Rhode Island-based Eastern Pure Water is a dealer of Wellsys-branded mains-fed water dispensers to customers in the state.
According to Quench, the purchase adds more than 500 customers to Quench’s growing customer base in the region.
The takeover of Eastern Pure Water forms part of Quench’s recent acquisition strategy, which has seen the company acquire seven companies so far in 2021 in order to expand its customer base. Notable acquisitions include the purchase of Chicago-based water dispenser firm Magic Pure in April, the takeover of Trusource H2O Canada in February and the acquisition of mains-fed water dispenser firm Get Filtered in January.
Todd Peterson, COO of Quench, said: “We are excited to welcome Eastern Pure to the Quench family.
“This acquisition is our seventh already in 2021 and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting our dealers throughout their development from start-up to exit.
Paul Martin, president of Eastern Pure, added: Quench has been a great partner in growing our business, so they were the logical choice when we began to explore an exit.”
