Culligan-owned Quench has released a high-capacity water and ice dispenser for commercial customers in the US and Canada.
Available as a free-standing unit (Quench 960) and as a counter-top model (Quench 965), the mains-fed dispenser connects to an existing water supply, and both variants can reportedly provide workplaces with up to 125 lbs. of chewable nugget ice and freshly filtered ambient or hot drinking water.
The dispenser also features an air filter and an ice chute door to “minimise the possibility of ‘contaminated’ air from entering the machine”; LED UV-C water treatment technology to prevent biofilm and bacteria growth in the ice melt pan; and a dual auger to prevent ice bridging and ice fusing.
Ted Hertz, Quench’s vice-president of product management, said: “For years our customers have been asking for a small form, high-capacity drainless ice machine with hot water.
“In response to our customers’ needs, we introduced a system with unparalleled capabilities.”
