Organic dairy brand Rachel’s has expanded its Greek-style yogurt range with the launch of a limited-edition strawberry and champagne variant.
Available in the UK from 26 February, the latest edition aims to respond to current consumer demand for enticing new flavours and alcohol-infused products.
Last year, Rachel’s launched a Greek-style lemon and gin yogurt, the brand’s first foray into alcohol-infused yogurt flavours.
In a statement, Rachel’s said: “Combining the creamy and luxurious texture of Rachel’s famed Greek-style yogurt with delicious strawberries, the yogurt also contains a Marc de Champagne liquor made from the pomace from champagne grapes, adding a subtle scent and unique flavour.”
Rachel’s marketing manager Matthew Davis said: “Here at Rachel’s we’re always striving to provide our fans with imaginative flavours. With sales of sparkling wine continuing to soar across the UK, we believe that our latest premium combination will tap into this growing trend and prove a popular addition to consumers’ baskets during 2018.”
Last year, Rachel’s introduced an organic lactose-free yogurt range and an organic natural yogurt line.
The strawberry and champagne flavour will retail at £1.99 for a 450g pot.
