UK-based Raisthorpe Manor has released a new premium range of Yorkshire Tonic waters for the UK market, in response to the growing popularity of gin in the country.
Six varieties of tonic water are available in the Yorkshire Tonic range, strawberry & pomegranate, pink grapefruit, citrus, apple, premium and skinny.
Each tonic is made at Raisthrope’s farm in Yorkshire by blending local water with a range of citrus and fruit botanicals.
Raisthorpe’s sales and operations director Oliver Medworth said: The popularity of gin continues to grow – it’s all about flavourful botanicals and provenance.
The modern G&T is a cocktail is a cocktail of flavours and our new tonics elevate the natural qualities of the gin without overpowering them.
“The aromatic tonics have been carefully developed to enhance the flavours of spirits, for example, the strawberry and pomegranate will be a perfect accompaniment to premium gins and vodkas.
“After all, tonic makes up two-thirds of the drink, and paring the right tonic with your gin is just as important as your choice of gin.”
Raisthorpe’s Yorkshire tonics are now available in 200ml bottles from selected UK retailers, and each bottle has a suggested retail price of £1.50.
