UK-based Raisthorpe Distillery has unveiled a new range of limited-edition Christmas light-up gins with edible gold leaf.
The new gin is available in three flavours Pear and Peppercorn, Apricot and Coconut and Bramble and Saffron. The expression also includes an edible gold leaf and an illuminated base that lights up and reveal each bottle’s botanical decorations of fruits, bees and bloom.
A spokesperson for Raisthorpe Distillery told FoodBev: “You can choose whether to have [the lights] on all the time or one of two flashing sequences”.
Launched over 10 years ago by Julia Medforth, the small-batch gin is blended with botanicals and water from Gypsey Spring’s underwater streams.
The offering, which has a 40% abv, is available in 700ml bottles and retails at £29.99.
