Glass manufacturer Spiegelau has added a new craft beer glass to its collection in time for St Patrick’s Day.
In addition to the original stout, IPA and American wheat glasses, The Spiegelau barrel-aged glass is the result of two years of development in partnership with the brew masters of four of the world’s great producers of barrel-aged beer.
“Barrel-aged beers represent the height of a brew master’s talent and passion,” Spiegelau said. “The impartation of long-term wood ageing on fine beer makes for the most complex expression possible in terms of the aroma, taste, mouth feel and finish of these special beers. Barrel-aged beers are truly a connoisseur’s choice.”
It is available with a price of £24.95 for a set of four glasses.
