Soft drinks producer Rocks Drinks has showcased its completely new packaging design with the launch of a new fruit-based ready-to-drink (RTD) version of its popular fruit squash range.
The new line of RTD still and sparkling drinks are full of delicious fruit flavours and combine real fruit with organic cane sugar and Rocks’ spring water – the same process that Rocks has used to make its squashes for more than 30 years, the brand said.
Packaged in 250ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £1.99, the new range will be available nationally beginning this month in six flavour combinations: ginger and wasabi, strawberry and blackcurrant, pink lemonade, and raspberry and lime in sparkling varieties, with mango and orange, and blackcurrant and elderflower in still format.
They are being launched in Rocks’ redesigned packaging, which incorporates a clear bottle and new rounded logo boasting the statement “100% squished”. The design also features brightly coloured labels that reflect “the intensity and burst of real fruit flavour in each bottle”. The UK-based company is hoping that the new visual identity, rolling out across its squashes and ready-to-drink range from this month, will help “to make a big impact” and create greater on-shelf standout for consumers.

“We have undertaken research that demonstrates 45% of mums buying squash want drinks that are made with real fruit and 57% of mums buying squash look for drinks with no artificial additives, colourants or sweeteners. This demonstrates that there is a market for drinks like ours, and while others follow the growing trend to find alternative artificial sources, we stand by our commitment to use natural ingredients, including sugar. For Rocks there is no substitute.
