With the extra impetus of several promotions, including Organic Fortnight, the launch of Duchy Originals at Waitrose and the OMSCo ‘Break the Habit’ campaign, performance even outstripped the peak Christmas periods of 2008 and 2009.
Figures from Kantar Worldpanel show that September sales were up 15.5% on August, with 12-week year-on-year results suggesting that a recent decline in fortunes is now bottoming out.
