Soreen has expanded its line of malt loaves with the launch of Chocolate and Orange Mini Loaves, as it aims to tap into the Easter market.
Under 100 calories per bar, the mini loaves aim to offer a tasty but healthier treat to be enjoyed throughout the spring season.
Available in multipacks of five, the mini loaves are individually packed providing an on-the-go snack.
Bethan Brown, marketing director at Soreen, said: “In the lead up to the Easter break, which is traditionally a time of indulgence, we tend to find that parents are interested in healthier choices for their children.
“Our colourful packaging is perfectly fitting for spring but offers families a tasty treat that comes in at under 100 calories per mini loaf (98kcal), comprises 50% less sugar and 67% less fat than the average Easter cake bar, as well as being a source of fibre.
“What’s more, Soreen’s Spring Mini Loaves contain no reds in their nutritional traffic lights. We took the decision to feature the traffic light nutritionals on the front of our packs in 2017 to make it easier for parents to make healthier choices.”
The new spring-themed loaves follow past seasonal product developments by Soreen including winter spice, and a Halloween selection featuring chocolate and blood orange, and toffee apple.
The special edition mini loaves are available in several UK retailers for an RRP of £1 until Easter weekend.
