Meal replacement drinks producer Soylent Nutrition has launched a new strawberry four-pack, available exclusively at Target stores in the US.
Soylent first launched its four-count 11oz multipacks last year, bridging the gap between its single bottle and 12-pack offerings. The new strawberry flavour joins the existing cacao and vanilla variants.
For every strawberry four-pack sold until 4 December 2019, Soylent will donate the financial equivalent of one meal, up to 35,000 meals, to Swipe Out Hunger, a non-profit committed to ending college student hunger.
“Soylent is proud to support Swipe Out Hunger and their mission to end student food insecurity in the US,” said Soylent SVP of sales Melody Conner.
“Additionally, it has been very important to us to work with retailers in order to bring new items to consumers, allowing them to engage with our brand in new ways.
“This has been critical to our success as we have grown in retail. It is the season of giving, which is a great time for consumers to head to Target and try Soylent strawberry and support an incredible cause while doing so.”
Earlier this year, Soylent introduced Soylent Bridge, a beverage designed to be a solution for when hunger strikes between meals, giving consumers a plant-based alternative to high-sugar snacks.
Sold in 11oz bottles, the chocolate-flavoured drink contains 15g of plant-based protein, 36 essential nutrients, 180 calories and 3g of sugar.
