Spices, herbs and tea supplier Steenbergs has launched a new range of herbal infusion teas under the brand name Bloke’s.
It includes Morning Brew, a loose leaf, caffeine-free blend of redbush, oatstraw, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and orange peel; Energising Herbal Tea, which includes maté, hawthorn tops, gotu kola, nettle and peppermint for an early afternoon invigoration; and Chillax Tea, which combines the flavours of lime flower and chamomile with red clover and lemon balm. There is also a Bloke’s herbal tea aimed at the men’s health market.
The new blends will bolster the company’s existing product line, which includes a selection of green, white, black, chai and flowering teas, as well as a range of organic herbal teas in a number of flavours. Steenbergs takes as much care in ensuring that its products are ethically and responsibly sourced as it does in blending its teas.
The company said: “Steenbergs take their ethical ethos very seriously, with all products sourced from individually approved suppliers dedicated to fair trade and fair working conditions. Steenbergs Teas were recently rated as one of the best tea suppliers on ethical grounds from Ethical Consumer Magazine. As with the provenance, the packaging and processing of Steenbergs products also meet the highest ethical standards, with all packaging being fully recyclable and Steenbergs now able to boast being a carbon neutral company.”
