Sweetbird has heralded the coming of autumn by launching a new s’mores syrup, inspired by the popular campfire treat.
The new s’mores syrup combines the flavours of toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate and graham cracker biscuit for a versatile and great-tasting addition to lattes, hot chocolates, milkshakes and frappés, the brand said.
Sweetbird added that the product would extend the life of s’mores beyond the end of summer, and can be simply incorporated by foodservice operators into their hot beverage offerings by adding two pumps of the new s’more syrup to hot chocolate, lattes or cappuccinos before topping with steamed milk.
It also claimed that, with bonfire night approaching, it was the perfect time to take advantage of the syrup.
A spokesperson for Sweetbird said: “Like the rest of the Sweetbird range, s’mores syrup is 100% free from fructose corn syrups, artificial colours and GMOs, and is approved for vegans and vegetarians by The Vegan Society. If you didn’t want s’more, we bet you do now.”
The new Sweetbird s’mores syrup will be available to order from 19 September and is available in 1 litre bottles.
