US beverage firm Sycamore Brewing has expanded into the cider sector with the launch of its Wild Blossom Cider range.
Consisting of Rosé and Brut variants, the line is available in both four-pack 16oz cans and draft in the US. Sycamore aims to release a range of seasonal ciders early next year.
Crafted from Pacific Northwest juice and fermented with Champagne yeast, the ciders are said to be “crisp and dry with a refreshing finish”.
Rosé is made with peaches and cranberries to create a pink hue and sweetness. Brut is said to drink like Champagne but with fewer calories. Both aim to offer a lighter, lower-alcohol option for wine drinkers.
Last year, North Carolina-based Sycamore Brewing completed work on its $2.5 million production brewery and cidery. The firm said it has experienced triple-digit growth each year since opening in 2014.
