British gourmet yogurt brand The Collective has ventured into the split pot category with the introduction of Duples, an innovative range of premium dual-tub yogurts.
Launching in Tesco with a recommended retail price of £1.29 for a 147g or 143g tub, the new product line is available in three varieties, each pairing The Collective’s gourmet yogurt and fruit compotes with natural, textured toppings. The three flavours are passion fruit yogurt with a fresh and crunchy toasted granola, made up of quinoa, toasted oat flakes, seeds and honey; Scottish raspberry with a mix of cocoa nibs, toasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, and desiccated coconut; while the black cherry yogurt is accompanied by Belgian dark chocolate curls – a completely new variant to The Collective’s range.
After having previously expanded into both the natural yogurt category, with Straight Up, and the children’s market with Suckies, its range of fresh yogurt pouches for kids, the brand is hoping that the Duples range will tap into the burgeoning demand for premium and delicious products that provide consumers with a healthier alternative throughout the day, whether it’s at snack time, breakfast or as a post-dinner dessert.
The Collective co-founder Amelia Harvey said: “The Collective is committed to injecting innovation, excitement and ridiculously tasty products into the dairy market. Duples are our latest launch and have been created to meet the demand for a premium offering in the split pot category.
“Dual yogurts have been popular in the UK for some time and by entering into this market we aim to provide consumers with greater choice through a product range, which uses the finest ingredients and exciting flavour combinations to create something completely unique in the market. By pairing our signature thick and creamy gourmet yogurt with hand-selected toppings, our yogurt really has met its perfect match.”
