The Ferrero Group will expand its Tic Tac mints portfolio with a limited-edition Coca-Cola variant.
Tic Tac Coca-Cola, which is described as “the first mint with the refreshment of Coca-Cola”, will be available in the next few months in more than 70 countries.
In a statement, Ferrero said: “With Tic Tac Coca-Cola, consumers will enjoy an incomparable taste experience which combines the refreshment of Coca-Cola with the iconicity of Tic Tac. Both brands are appreciated all over the world, perfect for sharing, connecting people, providing refreshment.”
In a move to strengthen the collaboration between the two brands, the products will be available three packs, each with a different size and weight.
The introduction is supported by a global communication plan, including a dedicated TV campaign as well as online and social media activities.
Other Tic Tac flavours include: spearmint mix, strawberry fields, mint evolution, apple mix, and fruit adventure.
Last week, Ferrero revealed plans to make all its packaging 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025.
The maker of Nutella spread and Kinder chocolate said it is committing to eliminating problematic or unnecessary plastic packaging through redesign, innovation and new delivery models.
The confectioner will invest in R&D and open innovation departments to maximise the use of recycled materials in its packaging.
