US organic chocolate brand Theo Chocolate has entered into a new snacking category with the launch of new Cookie Bites.
The new snack is certified organic, made with fair trade chocolate and comes in three flavours: double chocolate, snickerdoodle and mint chocolate.
Theo’s Double Chocolate Cookie Bites feature a chocolate cookie centre with a blend of cocoa and vanilla, which is coated in 55% dark chocolate and a touch of salt.
Snickerdoodle Cookie Bites feature a vanilla cookie centre that is covered in cinnamon 45% milk chocolate. The brand’s Mint Chocolate Cookie Bites are made up of a chocolate cookie centre, with a 55% dark chocolate coating infused with peppermint oil.
At 22 cookie bites per serving, Theo Chocolate says its new product offers the perfect snack to be enjoyed throughout the day.
“Chocolate is our passion, so we were looking for a way to take our chocolate and make it more snackable,” said Lauren Perkins, brand manager, new product development at Theo Chocolate.
“With that in mind, we took inspiration from one of our other favourite treats, cookies, and rolled with it, literally! Our Cookie Bites are perfect for snacking, indulging, or hiding in a drawer so nobody else can eat them before you get a chance to finish the bag.”
Theo Chocolate Cookie Bites are available online and will be rolling out in grocery stores nationwide over the coming months for an RRP of $5.99.
Last year, the brand recreated popular flavour combinations with the launch of Peanut Butter & Jelly Cups and Coffee & Cream Cups.
