The new Thermo Scientific Versa Teorema checkweigher features a combination of the latest Versa checkweigher controller technology with the Teorema ‘no moving parts’ weigh table.
This combination allows accurate operation in harsh environments at line rates up to 660 cans per minute. It is ideally suited for checkweighing a wide variety of canned food products such as soups, vegetables, fruits, beans, sauces and seafood.
The UK’s National Measurement Office (NMO) has certified that the Versa Teorema is in compliance with European Council Directive 2004/22/EC for measuring instruments. Furthermore, the Teorema has been certified by NMO for accuracy class XIII(1) (e ≥ 0.5 g) under the Measuring Instruments Directive and the Organisation Internationale de Métrologie Légale (OIML R51 – Edition 2006(E)).
“This certification means that Versa Teorema has been independently certified that it delivers the stated weighing accuracy,” said Rick Cash, product technology and checkweigher product manager. “Food processors running can lines around the globe can now be assured that they have access to a checkweigher that delivers the type of accuracy their operation demands.”
The Versa Teorema also offers touchscreen control, a helix in-feed, a high-rate reject system and additional communications capabilities. A full mesh cover is available for enhanced safety.
