TigerNut Horchata drinks

New York, US-based Organic Gemini has launched a new line of dairy-free TigerNut Horchata drinks, which contain extracts of tigernut root vegetable.

According to the brand’s website, tigernuts are the number one source of resistance starch – a prebiotic fibre that resists human digestion and becomes fuel for our probiotic bacteria. Organic Gemini claims that our ancestors relied heavily on this ‘super-root’ and that the vegetable made up 80% of the paleo human diet.

Tigernut Horchata is packaged in 355ml bottles and the product is available in a variety of different flavours, such as Banana, Coffee, Chai and Honey. All drinks in the range feature potassium and are USDA certified organic.
