Jonathan Rankin, the new CEO of TNA
Packaging manufacturer TNA has appointed Jonathan Rankin as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Rankin has over three decades of experience in the industry, having held various global management roles at TNA from 1993 until 2003. He returned to TNA to serve as the company’s chief sales officer in 2018, overseeing TNA’s global sales division.
Before re-joining TNA, Rankin served as food processing specialist Marel’s general manager, where he was responsible for the successful growth of the company’s Oceania operations.
TNA says that Rankin will focus on the implementation of new processes “that will take TNA’s operational efficiencies and growth to the next level.” The company added that Rankin is well-versed in the company’s culture, business objectives and portfolio of integrated food processing and packaging solutions.
Alf Taylor, co-founder and managing director of TNA, said: “Our growth over the last few years has been incredible.
“We now operate out of 30 sites and employ over 500 talented people around the world. It’s a huge step-up from when Nadia and I started the business from our kitchen table.
“Over the last 36 years, we’ve added some truly amazing people to our team, gained a fantastic bunch of customers and established ourselves as a global leader on the snack food manufacturing market.
“Jonathan celebrated some of our most important milestones with us and played an instrumental role in our growth. We were thrilled when he decided to come back and can’t wait to see just how much further he’ll take the business.”
