US fruit processing cooperative Tree Top has released new drink pouches for kids that offer a blend of fresh juice concentrates and water with low sugar claims.
Tree Top Fruit+Water pouches are made with 50% fruit juice and are available in four flavours: grape, fruit punch, tropical and berry.
According to Tree Top, the drinks contain 50% less sugar than average 100% juices and no high fructose corn syrup, artificial colours or flavouring.
The “juiced-up-water” pouches are said to provide healthy hydration on-the-go and “deliver real fruit taste kids will enjoy”.
Each 6oz pouch contains 50 calories or less, natural flavours and vitamin C.
The new product joins Tree Top’s variety of kid-friendly snacks including juice, dried apple crisps, apple cinnamon flavoured popcorn and apple sauce.
“Knowing we’re owned by fruit growers, parents trust Tree Top and our quality fruit-based products,” said Brooke Goodrich, senior product manager at Tree Top.
Goodrich added: “Tree Top Fruit+Water pouches can give parents peace of mind for healthy hydration on the go without the sugar overload. Kids will love the natural fruit sweetness, not to mention the playful package designs.”
Tree Top Fruit+Water pouches can be purchased in select grocery stores across the US.
