A new premium drinks brand that blends coconut water, ginger and vodka will launch in the UK next month.
Twisted Halo is positioned as “the ultimate refreshing summer drink for 2016” and will offer consumers an alternative to the low-calorie vodka, lime and soda. With 90 calories in every 275ml bottle, the brand has secured initial listings in Harvey Nichols and Fenwicks, and will debut at Taste of London in June.
The drink contains no added sugar and boasts the added electrolytes that come from the sparkling coconut water, allowing it to target consumers who are searching for a low-calorie alternative to alcohol and adult soft drinks.
Jessica Titcumb, founder of Twisted Halo, said: “Twisted Halo was created to deliver something different to consumers that deliberately chose low calorie drinks when out with friends. Results show that consumers are actively seeking out ‘healthier’ options when it buying food and now is no different within the drinks industry. Wine, sugar cocktails and beer can be laden with calories that can soon rack up throughout the night. Packed with electrolytes, Twisted Halo offers consumers refreshing coconut water, twisted ginger and premium vodka with no added preservatives, colours or artificial flavourings.”
