A creative new food brand is preparing to launch a range of herb dressings, combining freshly picked and natural ingredients.
A Little Bit On Top consists of four distinct dressings: red onion and parsley, which is ideal for drizzling over couscous, rice or salad; “warming and fragrant” balsamic and thyme that is sweetly aromatic for use as a marinade with meat or poultry; raspberry and mint, with the essence of summer fruits and mint undertones for an accompaniment to prawns, burgers and chicken sandwiches; and finally “classic” lemon and tarragon, which the brand described as a “refreshing pairing that cries out to be trickled over new potatoes, green beans or a lentil and feta salad”.
With the aim of making mealtimes more exciting and expanding consumers’ options for healthy eating, the range will launch at the Farm Shop & Deli Show in April.
A Little Bit founder Sophie Lane Fox said: “I’ve always been fortunate to have a bountiful supply of fresh herbs outside my back door which has lent itself to all manner of experimentation. Herbs have so many incredible properties and I really wanted to convey that using these plants in healthy eating dressings and sauces could be tasty and fun. Herbs can transform the simplest dishes into something spectacular. I hope that A Little Bit will also help to rejuvenate mealtimes. The dressings are the first stage and I’m looking forward to seeing people’s reactions at the Farm Shop & Deli Show.”
