Vegetarian food brand Linda McCartney’s has launched four new product lines, rolling out this month in major retailers across the UK.
The products include aromatic Thai sweet potato vegetable cakes, which includes a medley of vegetables with flavours of coconut, lime, lemongrass and red chilli; vegetarian pulled pork quarter-pounder burgers with smoky barbecue sauce; Indian-inspired vegetarian chicken biryani with rice, chickpeas and brown lentils; and vegetarian chicken and leek pies, which uses chicken-style pieces for a meat-free twist on the classic pie filling.
All four products will feature a recommended retail price of £2. The sweet potato vegcakes and pulled pork burgers will be available through supermarket Tesco, while the biryani, pie and burgers will also be available from Asda.
Jeremy Hudson, CEO of brand owner Hain Daniels, said: “To this day, our products continue to be inspired by Linda’s pioneering vision drive to offer innovative, tasty and convenient meat-free food. We are confident our consumers will enjoy these great new products.”
