N&W Global's Andrea Zocchi described Lone Star as "a strong partner".
An affiliate of US-based Lone Star Funds has acquired a global manufacturer of vending machines, which has its UK headquarters in the West Midlands.
N&W Global Vending makes a range of food and drink vending machines. Its UK arm, which is based in Bilston, employs 40 staff and has a turnover of £4.6 million.
The business was purchased from private equity funds formed by Investcorp Investment Holdings and Equistone Partners Europe.
N&W’s current management team will remain with the company and its range of products will be expanded in a bid to scale up its global presence.
Andrea Zocchi, chief executive of N&W Global Vending, said: “I look forward to working with the new owners, as Lone Star will be a strong partner to work with over the next stage of N&W’s growth.”
