GEA, a supplier of process technology for the food industry, has launched the ABF 1.2, an aseptic blow fill system which enables the company to produce for up to 165 hours continuously without interruption. With the ABF 1.2, the company states it’s possible to fill nearly almost any kind of product from clear beverages to those with particles.
The company was also keen to tell FoodBev Media’s Darren Wood about its Sterilfoil technology for fitting sterile foil caps on high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles and PET bottles, providing its customers with flexibility options and allowing them to choose the bottling and capping system that suits their needs.
