The range of entries in the category was broad, covering drinks such as Smug, Vegesentials, Little Big Shot Energy and the fermented cranberry drink Cranes. There is also stylish pouch pack packaging for Mambo drinks and stylish brown paper retro packaging for Hasslacher’s hot chocolate – each has a USP that makes them stand out from the mainstream.
Bella Berry enters a new category with Beauty from within while Cockta black tonic offers a premium blend of cola and tonic for a drink with a whole new outlook. There is also a big move to spicing up food with Mum’s Masala Universal Base sauces and a move to new proteins with Simris Alg underlining the growth of the seaweed sector in foods.
Pip&Nut, ProperCornTen Acre, Quibbles and Nudie coconut chips all underscore the move to healthier snacking with wonderfully on trend packaging, while Better than Pasta goes one step further with a low calorie offering as does half and half packaged Oppo ice cream.
