Waterlogic has announced the acquisition of Smart Water Memphis, a US water purification company, for an undisclosed sum.
According to the company, the move “offers density in an existing Waterlogic market”. Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, Smart Water was founded in 2006 by Tom Pease, who is now retiring from the firm.
Pease said: “I’ve run Smart Water for the last 15 years and it goes without saying, the decision to sell was not easy. Nonetheless, I’m very grateful Waterlogic has provided the opportunity for my retirement.”
This deal represents the 13th acquisition completed by Waterlogic in 2021.
Earlier this year, Waterlogic acquired QWS Holding and the Quality Water Service group of companies in Puerto Rico, Chile and Colombia.
