Winix’s iDRO creation featured a dedicated sparkling dispenser, a water filtration system and patented IceCore cooling technology, which works to instantly chill water at any time.
After browsing through a range of Winix’s other innovative products, we were ushered onto a coach and treated to an incredible four-course meal, which was held in order to celebrate 40 years of business partnership within the Winix brand.
Winix president Chulmin Yoon gave a short, touching speech to all of us lucky enough to attend the brilliant dinner and the FoodBev team even received a Winix Partner’s Appreciation Award!
FoodBev’s Ruth Cole gave a great impromptu speech as I clumsily held the prize, and the evening’s festivities carried on well into the night. It was a fantastic end to a productive first day at Amsterdam’s 2013 Aquatech show and we left feeling pretty chuffed with ourselves.
Today’s tour of the Aquatech exhibition has been just as exciting as the first, with a range of new companies, products and innovations present at the world’s leading trade exhibition for process, drinking and waste water.
Bluewater’s key account manager Erik Hellstam and communications officer David Noble were particularly helpful at today’s event, speaking with us in great length about their firm’s latest water purification systems, and Winix’s Sebastien Labat also took a lot of time out of his schedule to help us out, which was much appreciated.
Aquatech Amsterdam 2013 has been a brilliant show so far and I very much hope to be back for the next instalment in 2015, which promises to be just as grand and attention-grabbing.
