From 31 March, the vanilla flavoured milk drink will be available for the UK independent convenience market, where Yazoo is the number 1 flavoured milk brand with 64.9% volume share. Vanilla will also be distributed in most Asda superstores in locations nationwide from 21 April.
Penetration of flavoured milk amongst on-the-go shoppers has increased 6.2%, seeing a value growth of 15.2% YTD, with vanilla flavours in particular growing in volume by 29.2% over the last 52 weeks. Milk drinks have now been added by ONS to the nation’s shopping basket.
Jules Kramer, marketing director said: “Flavoured milk is clearly gaining popularity in on-the-go and as the market leader Yazoo offers retailers an exciting new Vanilla limited edition to capitalise on this growth.”
