Yogurt brand Yoomoo has announced its expansion into the ice lolly market with the launch of three flavours of frozen yogurt lollies.
Yoomoo Lollies each feature 55ml of swirled fruit and natural frozen yogurt, and is available in strawberry, mixed berry and tropical varieties. Available in a multipack of six, it will retail for a price of £2.49 beginning this month.
Manufacturers R&R Ice Cream claimed that the new products would “offer a healthier alternative to ice cream”, and are now seeking to exploit the trend in frozen yogurt products.
Charlotte Hambling, head of UK marketing at R&R Ice Cream, said: “We’re always looking for fresh ways to bring innovation to the market and trends showing an increase in demand for healthier treats meant it was a natural progression to expand the yoomoo range into the frozen lollies market.
“Our latest piece of research has shown overwhelming support for yoomoo frozen yoghurt, so we’re confident that yoomoo frozen lollies will be a popular choice with consumers. What’s more, each lolly contains 65% yogurt and yoomoo offers one of the highest quality frozen yogurt products on the market.”
