Fuel10k adds high-protein breakfast shake to portfolio
Premier Foods-owned breakfast brand Fuel10k has expanded its portfolio with the addition of a new high-protein breakfast shake. The new Ultimate Breakfast Shake is available in two flavours, Cookies & Cream and Fudge Brownie. The shakes, which contain 25g of milk protein per carton and have zero added sugar, were crafted to tap into growing consumer demand for convenience and foods that can be consumed on-the-go. Fuel10k’s brand director, Scott Chassels, said: “Our aim at Fuel10k has always been to help fuel a busy day and lifestyle. With 25g of protein per carton, we feel that the High Protein Ultimate Breakfast Shake really delivers on that for our customers. These Fuel10k drinks are also really suited for a pre- or post-workout shake to help maintain and build muscle. Both flavours contain half of the recommended daily serving of protein.” This is the first product launch since the brand was acquired by Premier Foods for £34 million in October last year. The new shakes will be available to purchase in select UK retailers from the end of April for an RRP of £1.89 per carton.
