Nestlé USA unveils new CPK croissant-inspired crust pizzas

Nestlé USA has announced that it is expanding its California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) portfolio with the introduction of two croissant-inspired thin crust products. The latest additions to the CPK range both come with a serving of Mike's Hot Honey under a new collaboration with the US sauce brand. As such, consumers are able to “customise their level of sweet heat”. Golden brown on the outside, the dough features flaky croissant-inspired layers. Varieties include: Uncured Pepperoni & Hot Honey, topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella; and Bacon & Caramelized Onion, which features a brie sauce, roasted garlic and mozzarella. “The new croissant-inspired crust pizzas are a delicious twist on our CPK thin crust and give consumers new elevated toppings they’re looking for like hot honey,” said Elizabeth Hanculak, senior brand manager at Nestlé. “It's yet another example of our ability to leverage rapid innovation alongside the brand's heritage and California roots to provide a premium at-home eating experience.” Both products will be available nationwide from next month at retailers including Target and Meijer.
