UK gut health brand Bio&Me is expanding its popular porridge range with the addition of two protein-boosted Porridge+ Pots.
Aimed at consumers looking for a convenient energy-fuelled breakfast, the new pots will be available in blueberry and caramel flavours and deliver over 12g of protein per pot. The variants contain up to nine plant-based foods, including the likes of almonds, brown linseed, dates, carrots and sunflower seeds.
The pots also contain no added sugars, artificial sweeteners or emulsifiers.
Jon Walsh, Bio&Me co-founder and CEO, said: “Our current porridge pots are already striking the right chord with consumers, delivering +91% growth, and we hope these new protein pots will further elevate the range.”
In line with Bio&Me’s B-Corp commitments, each pot is made from PEFC-certified paper, ensuring they are recyclable.
Walsh continued: “Reducing the amount of plastic waste we produce is of utmost importance to us as a business, so we’re pleased to be making this sustainable shift into paper pots, helping simplify the recycling process for shoppers, as well as being planet kind too”.
Bio&Me’s Porridge+ Pots is currently available in Sainsbury's stores.
