Coca-Cola South Pacific has begun advertising in Australia for its new No Sugar product range with the slogan ‘say yes to the taste you love’.
In development at the company’s US headquarters for more than five years, the new Coca-Cola No Sugar recipe was crafted to taste more like Coca-Cola Classic.
Following an announcement earlier this month that the company would ditch its Coke Zero brand in favour of the new sugar-free variant, Coca-Cola has now launched its largest ever giveaway in Australia, seeing more than two million samples handed out.
Customers are able to try out the product by downloading vouchers digitally, on mobiles or via mobile app Shazam during the new advertisement.
The sampling campaign also features a new interactive outdoor advertising panel, featuring a LED screen where consumers can verbally say ‘yes’ to redeem a free sample directly from the refrigerated panel.
Coca-Cola South Pacific group marketing manager Marina Rocha said: “Coca-Cola No Sugar is the product of years of extensive research, consumer testing and trials by our flavour experts and we are confident we have created our best tasting sugar-free Coca-Cola recipe ever. Now we want Aussies to give it a go and say to Coke No Sugar – it won’t be hard to find.
“We know many of those people who love the taste of Coca-Cola are looking for ways to watch their sugar intake. The new Coca-Cola No Sugar offers a great new choice for those who love the taste of Coke but are conscious of their sugar intake.”
This is the second time in 14 months that Coca-Cola has relaunched its sugar-free version in Australia. Last year it unveiled Coca-Cola Zero Sugar with a different recipe.
