MillerCoors has chosen Ball Corporation as its 2012 Innovator of the Year. Ball received the award during a reception at MillerCoors' corporate headquarters in Chicago last night.
The Innovator of the Year Award recognises Ball's contributions in beverage packaging innovation as a supplier to MillerCoors. Ball provides MillerCoors with aluminium beverage cans and aluminium bottles for many of its brands, such as Coors Light and Miller Lite.
"We're honoured to receive this recognition from our partners at MillerCoors," said Michael Hranicka, president for Ball's metal beverage packaging division, Americas. "The award recognises the innovative metal packaging that has resulted from the close collaboration between MillerCoors and Ball. It is also a testament to the value we place on innovation and the total commitment at Ball to being close to our customers and understanding their needs and future direction."
