Shaun Weston20 Sep 2010

In line with Molson Coors UK’s ambition to provide the most comprehensive drinks portfolio to the independent on trade, it has established a trading relationship with the market leader in English wines, Chapel Down.

From September 2010, Molson Coors UK will list Vintage Reserve Brut, Pinot Reserve 2004 & English Rose, three of Chapel Down’s award-winning sparkling wines, with a selection of still wines planned to follow early in 2011.

Robert Hilton, wine category controller at Molson Coors UK, said: “This is a great opportunity for us. The perception of English wine is changing and we’re committed to offering our customers the best drinks brands in the market at the moment.”

Guy Tresnan, sales & marketing director at Chapel Down, added: “We’re pleased to be working with Molson Coors. They have a clear vision for the development of their wine category and we’re delighted that they selected Chapel Down as their English wines supplier.”

Chapel Down isn’t listed with any other major brewer and will be available nationwide through Molson Coors UK from September.
